Fresh Start

Hello, guys! Haven’t been able to update my blog for quite a while and I’m sure you already know the reason why. I have a new baby! Lol joke. :))) Well, obviously, I did a MAJOR blog revamp-new layout, new theme, and even a new blog name. It kinda feels like new year with all these changes! Haha

I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the launch of my new blog (except for a giveaway which I will be having soon, before this month ends) than with a new outfit post. I didn’t plan it on purpose but I’m thankful I decided to wear something “blog-worthy” last Mother’s Day. Finally had the chance to wear this dress! It’s been in my possession since late last year (I think) but I never had the guts to wear it coz I felt like it doesn’t fit me well back then. Thanks to diet and exercise, I lost some weight and can now wear this dress without feeling awkward! Haha (O edi ako na pumayat! lol )

Anyway, before I get into the details of this look, let me talk about my blog’s new theme (which is, after all, the reason why I am blogging today haha). A lot of you (especially those who don’t know me personally) must be wondering why “Scrubs and Skirts”. Well, the answer is quite simple. For those who do not know, I am a Registered Medical Technologist by profession. I’ve been practicing for almost 4 years now (stop calculating my age, thanks) though, ironically, I never mentioned it here on my blog. That’s because when I started “in the making” (my previous blog), I opted to keep my personal life private. During that time, all I wanted was to post my outfits and my growing love for fashion. I was just a newbie, someone who’s “in the making”. And though I know I still have a LOT to learn and improve, I feel like the time has come for me to turn this blog into something that will reflect me as a person. So that’s how I came up with “Scrubs and Skirts”. “Scrubs” (as in scrub suit) represents me as a Med Tech while “Skirts”, well, as someone who enjoys dressing up and considers shopping as her cardio. (The reason why I lost weight… lol)
What can you say about the design/layout? It’s so me, isn’t it? So happy Shekinah was able to translate the look that I want. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Thank you, thank you, sis! ♥

I seldom put my hair in a bun, but when I do, I use Goody Spin Pins. I love the soft curls that it creates. Such great help for someone who’s always lazy to fix her hair. Hehehe 😛

How do you like my look, guys? And my blog’s new design? Please feel free to comment. Would love to know your reactions. 🙂 Till my next post!

Hype this look on Lookbook and Chictopia!
