Looking Back

I was really saving this outfit post for this year-end blog entry. Not because it's something special or anything, but because December went by so fast, I barely had time to do outfit shots.

Wore this black and white number at the Food Meets Fashion Bazaar Day 3. If you've been a loyal reader of this blog, you would know how much of a sucker I am for this classic combination. It's always nice to have a break from the fashion bandwagon and go back to the basics--those that never go out of style.

Sorry for the blurred photos. Hehe Tin (Shekinah's sis) took this set and I'm still not used to other people taking my outfit shots. Haha I kept moving and changing poses so please pardon my awkwardness. Still have a lot to improve in that department. Don't worry coz it's already included in my 2014 New Year's Resolutions! :P

Speaking of New Year, I can't believe 2013 is almost over! It's been a great year and I am so thankful to our Lord for all the blessings. 2013 has been a tough year for me, and though I never mentioned it here on my blog, this was the year wherein I made a lot of life changing decisions. I decided to stop doing that thing that kept me busy last 2012 (due to reasons I opt not to explain anymore) and went back to blogging. I revived my online shop, enrolled myself in a fashion school and spent a lot of my time doing the things that I love. It wasn't easy coz there were people who talked behind my back, judged me as if they know me and pretended to be my friends. Fake friends. I also discovered a lot of those this year. But at least I was able to throw away some junk before 2014, right? It's all good! Lol

Those were just some of the things that I went through this year. There were more serious and tougher things that happened but I'll just keep them to myself. Life was indeed a rollercoaster ride--sometimes you're up, sometimes you're down. So if you've been wondering why you've been on your lowest point for quite a while already, hold on. God's not yet done with you coz you're in for a really awesome treat! I believe I got the treat that I deserve for this year and I'm definitely working hard to get the others this 2014! :) #hopeful

Anywaaaay, enough 2013 drama. Let's get down to outfit details before I get too emotional. Haha

Shirt Dress: River Island
Boots: Topshop
Watch: from Bangkok
Bangle: from Superb Bazaar

Hope you like this simple, easy breezy look I have for you. Don't forget to hype it on Lookbook and Chictopia! Hehe Happy New Year, guys! Wish you all the best this 2014! God bless us all! ♥

  1. Mixed emotions year. Lots of lesson here and there. Good on doing "what you really like to do." Not doing "something" just to do what you really like "later." Oh the irony. Happy New Year!
