Is the title familiar to you? If not, then that means you're not following me on Instagram! Hahaha Kidding! :P If you noticed, I used this hashtag (#theporchlifeproject) on some of my IG photos which were taken during my recent trip to La Union. Some of you might be wondering what this hashtag is about (I actually got a number of messages asking me about this), so I decided to do a quick post about it tonight. It's so hard to choose which photos to post coz, as usual, I took a bazillion photos! Haha

And my addiction to palm tree prints continues! I am actually at this point right now wherein I can't decide if I should redecorate my room with palm prints or not! Hahaha Don't know where I got this fascination but I'm just so happy that summer is giving me a valid excuse to enjoy these prints!

Still on a high from last Saturday's Closeup Forever Summer and I'm just so excited to share with you guys some of the photos from the event. Hats off to Closeup Philippines for coming up with the coolest summer party in the city! Everything was just perfect! From the artists, theme, venue-- Closeup totally killed it! I also didn't expect that there will be so many surprises! I like how interactive and "crowd-sourced" this concert has been from the start (planning and conceptualizing) up to the end (actual party). Hope you enjoy these photos!

Nothing like a simple button-down paired with denim shorts can make you look effortlessly chic in an instant. I don't know if it's just me, but I think one of the most versatile items in a girl's closet is a pair of denim shorts. It's a basic wardrobe staple which is perfect for almost all styles- casual, rugged, laid-back, classy, sophisticated- with the right top and accessories, I believe you can never go wrong with this classic.

A bigger and better Yoshinoya is now open at SM Mall of Asia and I was lucky enough to be one of the first few people to visit their new place. Since I don't usually eat at Japanese restaurants, I got so excited (and nervous? lol whut) when I received an invitation to attend their Grand Re-Opening last March 26. I had second thoughts, though, coz SM MOA is a bit far from where I live and the event was scheduled to start at 10:00 - 10.30 AM. I was afraid that I might wake up late (coz it's my rest day and you know how hard it is to wake up early on those days. lol), get stuck in traffic and arrive at the venue past 10.30. HAHA Oh well, the pessimist in me. Thank God I made it to the event just fine and had enough time to take pictures. Blogger mode: ON!

Today was a free day and I had the chance to spend it whole day at home. So after doing my work out, I checked my email and came across this message that involves creating a summer look for a certain brand. It was stated in the instructions that it has to be something "Polyvore-like". I'm kinda familiar with Polyvore, but haven't really tried using it before. Curious, I checked the site and tried creating a collage. I had so much fun that I forgot to make one for the brand and ended up doing an inspiration board for my summer wardrobe. Haha Thought I should share it with you coz I almost spent my entire afternoon doing this. Lol Mixing and matching clothes, shoes and accessories is one of the best things that I love about fashion. It's so fun! So, here it is. My first ever Polyvore set!
