Whoops! It's been a hectic week at work (hence the lack of posts) but I'm back now and I have some good news for all of you shopaholics! We're just three months away from Christmas- meaning, it's time to start on our holiday shopping. As usual, there will be lots of bazaars everywhere but there's a specific one that I would love for you to check out.

Good food, relaxing ambiance, soothing music- these are some of the things that made me enjoy my first dining experience at San Francisco Bistro (or SF Bistro). For those who aren't yet familiar with this restaurant, SF Bistro is located at Tuscany, McKinley Hill and is operated by the same people behind Rue Bourbon.

I'm a sucker for places with beautiful interiors (Read: Instagrammable Places. Haha) and, being the laid-back person that I am, cozy atmospheres. So the moment I stepped inside SF Bistro, I knew that I found another great spot to hang out. It's a perfect place to dine with friends, spend date nights with loved ones or just chill out during those much needed alone times.

I went to visit this place last Wednesday with my boyfriend, James. It's been a loooong time since we went on a date (can't remember the last time actually haha) and I'm happy we went to SF Bistro. They serve a wide array of food and drinks. From appetizers to desserts, smoothies to beer, they surely got it covered. I honestly wanted to try everything on the menu but my appetite is so small, I got full already after eating my Portabello Truffle Pasta. Huhu Nevertheless, James and I had an awesome time at SF Bistro. Check out what we had for dinner!

Chicken Tender and Fries
Deep fried chicken, served with fries and honey mustard on the side (P145).

Portabello Truffle Pasta
Linguine pasta tossed in creamy sauce with mushroom. Served with two slices of bread (P205).

Now, don't let this photo deceive you. The serving may look small in this angle but a single order of this pasta is actually enough for two people to share. I would have loved to try the other pastas but the creaminess of this one made me sooo full. Haha Though I still prefer red sauce over white (which is why I regret not trying their Shrimp Newburg pasta), this Portabello Truffle Pasta indeed satisfied my pasta-craving taste buds!

Beef Brisket
Traditional slow roast beef belly with spices. Served with dirty mashed potato or steamed rice, bacon wrapped in beans and creamy gravy. Garnished with parsley (P205).

Beef Brisket is SF Bistro's house special. You can choose if you want it served with rice or mashed potato. It's that mouthwatering dish that you should try because of its soft and flavorful beef!

Flavored Beer (Glass - P80, Pitcher - P200)

For drinks, we decided to try their Flavored Beers, lychee for James and apple for me. Too bad we didn't try caramel beer! Heard it's one of their bestsellers. Anyway, between these two (lychee and apple), I prefer the lychee flavored beer because it has the right mix of alcohol and lychee. But I'm not a drinker so don't trust me on this one. Haha! All I can say is that if you're looking for a nice place to drink and have fun with friends, SF Bistro is the right place to go. Aside from flavored beers, they serve shooters, wines, refreshers, cocktails, mojitos, sangria, martini and even imported beers! Not so much into alcohol and the likes? Then you can opt for smoothies (Yema Mama and Nutella Funtella. Huhu Nutella!!!) or hot beverages instead!

James and I had a pleasant midweek date night. Thanks to SF Bistro! If you want to know more about this restaurant, you can check out their Facebook Page, Twitter and Instagram

Thank you for having us, SF Bistro! Can't wait to go back! :)

Tonight I spent almost 3 hours rummaging through my closet, looking for something to wear tomorrow. And guess what guys... I'm still undecided! Ugh. You know that feeling right? The frustration of not finding an outfit that will make you comfortable and confident? Well, that's what I'm feeling right now. My room is a total mess as we speak and I just have to take a break cause I feel like I'm about to lose myself already (Lol. Okay, I'm exaggerating but you get what I mean). Help!

A few weeks back, I was contacted by someone from Paul Fredrick asking if I can do a brief feature about their Fall Collection on my blog. It took me a while to respond because aside from getting caught up with my backlogs, I was also having doubts if I will be able to do it. For someone living in a tropical country like the Philippines, I do not have firsthand experience regarding Fall Fashion. Yes, I have ideas but it's something I really haven't given much thought about before. I don't wanna sound all-knowing too so I decided to do a quick research just to, you know, make sure that I have enough knowledge about this trend.

Currently on my third day (going fourth coz it's almost midnight) of vacation and I thought I should post another quick update about how my vacation is going so far. Well, the second and third days were pretty much uneventful. I just stayed at home, read a book until my eyes got tired and I got a headache and, surprisingly, watched TV. I only got a glimpse of the shows that I tried to watch though, coz I kept falling asleep. This is why I rarely watch TV. It bores the hell out of me. Anyway, even though nothing much happened yesterday and today, I think both were still productive days for me. Because yesterday, I finally went to the pet shop (it's been written on my planner's to-do list for 2 weeks already) and bought stuff for our dog, Kenzo. And earlier today, I was able to take a new set of outfit photos, which I will be posting next week. Also, I decided to do a simple household chore which was washing the dishes. Now, that's what you consider productive! Haha :))
